The groom's cake has a long, rich and colorful history that can be traced to England. Before the days of refrigeration this cake was made
with dried fruit, nuts and was soaked in liquor, which acted as a preservative.
The groom's cake was a gift to the groom from the bride; often it was made by the bride's mom.
In the past, young, unmarried women would place a slice of the groom's cake under their pillow with the belief that they would dream of their
future husband. This tradition also afforded a tasteful treat the next morning.
Would you like to make your groom feel extra special on your
wedding day? Or are you looking for a cake to sweeten your
shower? Take a look what we've done so far and call us with your
ideas. The more eccentric or unusual the cake, the more fun!
